Alien Invasion!, 2025

A collaboration between Penn State Abington and Independence Seaport Museum. On October 25th, 2025 Penn State Abington sculpture students created papier mache alien heads and cardboard UFO’s to fit over swan pedal boats. Music and Theatre students created a soundscape and ambient lighting effects. Artist Chris Bonner contributed speakers to play other-worldly theremin sounds to stage an “Alien Invasion” in the Penn’s Landing basin.
